Mr. Joe Davis has been working out with Emeritus Health for almost 6 months to improve his balance, increase stability and increase muscular strength in his upper and lower body. In addition, he performs exercises that will increase overall core strength. Flexibility training is an important tool to increase use in his legs and arms, particularly in his shoulder, where an injury has led to limited range of motion. The flexibility and strength training has been beneficial in giving Mr. Davis more range of motion, as well as more muscular endurance and lean muscle mass.He has been able to stay consistent with his workout routine, which has lead to increases in his strength and endurance. Mr. Robert W. Wolfe is 96 years young and has been a client for over a year. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and a veteran of WWII and the Korean wars. He was a captain in the US Navy where he commanded a mine sweeper in the Pacific. We work with Mr. Wolfe in his home 3 days a week performing exercises that will promote flexibility, muscular strength, endurance and balance so that he can maintain as much independence and confidence in his daily life."
